Our Therapy Process

Coaching is the process of assisting some one to make positive changes in their lives towards the attainment of their goals

Coaching is really a partnership between the coach and the client. It is a structured approach that provides inspiration and very importantly, accountability so as to achieve the desired goal. Coaching is not necessarily about telling someone what to do; it is about helping them to extract the ideas/solutions themselves-because it is there within them.

Goal setting could be in health as well as other areas of of life (e.g.emotions, relationships). Working on any one area of your life will undoubtedly also improve other areas. For example, when working on a health goal- the changes in health will bring more energy, vitality, clarity of mind and positivity. This of course will have a knock on effect and enhance all other areas of life including better productivity in work and better relationships- with oneself and others. NLP and Time line therapy can also be used as appropriate during the coaching process.

NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) is basically the study of how we internally communicate with ourselves as well as to others, which then leads to our behaviours. By recognising and changing negative internal language , it is possible to change your behaviours so they are more positive and aligned to your goals in life.

Time line therapy is an approach that can be used to overcome negative emotions and limiting beliefs- which are often buried at the unconscious level. Usually these arise from childhood even though we may not be aware of exactly when or what happened to cause them. Just as one negative emotion/limiting decision can impact every area of life, it follows that by reducing or eliminating this negativity, it can impact all areas of life in a positive manner. Thus, “loosening the grip” on negative emotions and limiting beliefs, helps to unblock hurdles to your happiness and success.
